Texas Street is one of Downtown Shreveport’s most iconic streets, rich with history, art, and activity. Today, we’re focusing on the 400 block of Texas Street, where a blend of dining, services, historic venues, and a new business create a snapshot of what downtown has to offer.

First is the City of Shreveport’s Department of Community Development. Headquartered at 415 Texas Street, this essential department offers a wide range of services, including workforce and business development, affordable housing improvements, homelessness services, and public facilities. Their commitment to community enhancement makes a lasting impact, providing federal grants and other funding opportunities.

Next is One Texas Center. Many may have visited this location over the last few weeks for Lunch On Us. We had the opportunity to use the front entrance as our ticket distribution location. One Texas center is home to a variety of businesses. If you’re interested in leasing space, reach out to Vintage Realty to explore leasing options.

Just down the street is Noble Savage which has been a fixture of downtown dining since 1996. Known for its distinctive cuisine, original craft cocktails, and live music, it continues to be a beloved spot for locals and visitors alike. Noble Savage has maintained its reputation for bold flavors and a lively atmosphere. Whether you’re stopping in for a perfectly crafted Old Fashioned or one of the new menu items, you’ll find something to savor.

Next, we highlight The Venues at 421 Texas, a beautifully restored event space that brings vintage charm and modern amenities together. This recently updated location offers an ideal setting for weddings, receptions, corporate parties, and more. With its timeless elegance, The Venues provides a special backdrop for any occasion. Featuring break rooms, splatter rooms, a golf simulator, table tennis, and more, it’s designed for all ages to enjoy. Crystal chose Downtown Shreveport for its energy and growth, especially with recent developments from Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson’s Millennial Studios. On A Rampage will bring a fresh wave of fun and entertainment to the city center, so stay tuned for opening details.
